Senior Program Manager
The Jackson Lewis Project Management Office (PMO) partners with firm leadership to enable successful execution of the firm's strategic priorities through disciplined portfolio, program, and project management. The PMO fosters enterprise alignment by establishing consistent governance, standard methodologies, and a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
As a Senior Program Manager , you will serve as a senior delivery leader responsible for driving the successful execution of the firm's highest-priority strategic initiatives. You will lead large, complex, cross-functional programs and projects spanning technology and business operations while advancing the maturity, consistency, and effectiveness of the firm's enterprise project management practices.
In addition to delivering strategic initiatives, you will partner with senior business leaders to shape project demand intake, assess business readiness, and facilitate prioritization recommendations that align resources to the firm's most important objectives. You will collaborate across Technology, Finance, HR, Marketing, Communications, Innovation, Legal Operations, and other business functions to ensure initiatives remain strategically aligned and deliver measurable enterprise value.
As a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, you will anticipate risks, manage complex dependencies, guide governance and decision-making, and help establish a scalable enterprise approach to project, program, and portfolio management across the firm.
Essential Functions
- Lead large, complex enterprise projects and programs from initiation through closure using disciplined project and program management methodologies.
- Develop and maintain integrated project and program plans, including program roadmaps, project schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, budgets, risks, issues, assumptions, and governance activities.
- Partner with senior business leaders to facilitate project demand intake, clarify strategic objectives, assess readiness, identify dependencies, and develop prioritization recommendations.
- Support enterprise portfolio management by providing visibility into project and program health, resource capacity, risks, and competing priorities.
- Design, establish, and maintain effective governance structures, steering committees, executive reporting, decision logs, and escalation paths.
- Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, senior business leaders, and cross-functional teams while serving as a strategic advisor throughout planning and execution.
- Monitor portfolio, program, and project health; proactively identify risks and issues; recommend mitigation strategies; and escalate key decisions with clear options and business impacts.
- Coordinate cross-functional dependencies to ensure alignment across initiatives and maximize organizational efficiency.
- Drive organizational change by partnering with business leaders to prepare stakeholders for new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
- Develop and maintain project artifacts, status reporting, executive presentations, communications, and governance documentation.
- Mentor and coach project managers, program managers, and project teams on consistent application of PMO standards, governance practices, and enterprise delivery disciplines.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of progressive experience leading complex, cross-functional enterprise projects and programs, with demonstrated ownership of high-visibility strategic initiatives.
- PMP or comparable project management certification
- Demonstrated experience managing strategic initiatives involving multiple business units, executive sponsors, and senior stakeholder groups.
- Strong understanding of project, program, and portfolio management principles, including governance, prioritization, risk management, dependency management, and benefits realization.
- Experience with enterprise project management tools.
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and successfully navigate complex organizational environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent strategic initiatives while balancing competing priorities, resource constraints, and executive expectations.

For New York City and San Francisco, the expected salary range for this position is between $167,000 and $195,500. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

For White Plains, NY, Washington DC area, Washington State, Illinois State, the expected salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $187,750. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
