Job Description

The Advisor Legacy Program (ALP) Administration & Execution Team is seeking an ALP Execution Lead to help drive strategies that strengthen client and Advisor retention when assets are transitioned during retirement under the Firm’s Advisor Legacy Program.  The role reports directly to the Team Manager.  This role blends strategic problem-solving, data-driven insights, and cross-functional execution to deliver measurable business outcomes in accordance with Firm policy. You’ll partner with field managers, Financial Advisors and corporate partners, to provide insights and recommendations for a retiring Advisor’s book of business to help transition and retain clients when Advisors retire under the Firm’s Advisor Legacy Program.

Position Responsibilities

- Interface with Managers and Advisors to help them understand and model the economic impact to all Advisors when a partnering Advisor retires

- Support all phases of the Advisor Retirement lifecycle, inclusive of execution of the Firm’s Advisor Legacy Program policy
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with the retiring Advisor and Manager to drive alignment and timely decisioning
- Lead an Advisor’s book review process to ensure clients and economic impact (joint production number equity splits and multipliers) for the retirement period are agreed upon by all partners
- Provide training to Field managers and Advisors on best practices to ensure and improve client and Advisor retention during Advisor retirements

- Work with Legal, Risk, Compliance and HR to reduce risk when Advisors are considering retirement

- Serve as a strategic partner to Senior Leadership, delivering executive-ready reporting & analytics and visualization (daily, monthly, quarterly)

- Build relationships with corporate partners to develop and implement strategic initiatives in the retirement process

- Develop AI Agents/automation to enhance operational efficiencies and accelerate results

- Translate data into recommendations and action plans, identifying trends and delivering initiatives with quality, accuracy, and timeliness

Qualifications

- 5+ years of Wealth Management and/or relevant financial services experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clear, executive-ready narratives and recommendations
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Co-Pilot)
- Comfort with AI platforms, prompting and basic usage
- Proactive and collaborative teammate, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, align stakeholders, and deliver high-quality results with strong attention to detail

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
