We are looking for an experienced and patient focused Patient Services Officer with previous MDT Coordinator experience to join our Radiation Oncology Centre located within Hollywood Hospital, Perth.

This is a casual position supporting our team across both patient services and multidisciplinary team coordination. You will work closely with clinicians and the broader care team to help keep our clinics running smoothly and ensure patients experience coordinated, compassionate care throughout their treatment journey.

You will be someone who is confident working in a busy healthcare environment, highly organised and comfortable coordinating MDT meetings alongside providing day to day medical administration support.

More specifically, you will:

- Coordinate and provide administrative support for Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings , including meeting preparation, patient lists, documentation and follow up.
- Liaise with clinicians and healthcare professionals to ensure relevant patient information is available for MDT discussions.
- Provide high quality administrative support within our radiation oncology clinic.
- Be a welcoming first point of contact for patients and carers, providing a professional and compassionate experience.
- Manage patient bookings, confirmations and clinic schedules in line with clinical requirements.
- Process referrals, correspondence and patient documentation accurately and confidentially.
- Assist with patient billing and receipting, including Medicare, private health funds and self funded patients.
- Maintain accurate and up to date patient records.
- Work closely with clinicians, nursing staff, allied health professionals and external providers to support coordinated patient care.
- Provide flexible support across the clinic as required in a busy and changing environment.

We’re looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience coordinating MDT meetings within a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Previous experience in medical or hospital administration , ideally within oncology, specialist practice or a hospital environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, meetings and clinical requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with patient information and clinical documentation.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with doctors, nursing teams, allied health professionals, patients and families.
- Experience with patient bookings, referrals and medical administration systems.
- Knowledge of Medicare, private health billing and receipting would be highly regarded.
- The ability to work independently while being a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to provide casual coverage based on the needs of the centre.
