About this role

Join our University Talent Acquisition science recruiting team as a Recruiter II, where you will play a vital role in attracting and hiring future scientists and innovators from student talent. In this dynamic position, you will independently build trust and influence key stakeholders, expertly plan and prioritize against targets, and manage candidates within tight timelines. Your ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments while solving problems will be essential for success. Responsibilities

- Partner with business and recruiting teams to understand student hiring needs.
- Build innovative strategies to attract, source, assess, and hire students for niche roles.
- Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency.
- Manage and track all candidate and campus information, consolidate and analyze results, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop recruitment strategies that contribute to long-term growth, implement new processes, and develop standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with full lifecycle recruiters and industry hiring teams to build an early career talent strategy.
- Manage customer expectations and business goals with bi-weekly business reviews, metrics, and status updates.
- Participate in special projects or recruiting initiatives, such as pilots and process improvement projects.

Essential Skills

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in passive candidate recruiting and filling niche roles.
- Technical sourcing and recruiting expertise.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience and knowledge of candidates associated with top scientific publications and conferences.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- In-person tradeshow and career fair experience at top scientific conferences.
- Former experience as a recruiter in similar environments.
- Prefer sourcing experience in corporate roles or tech.

Work Environment This role requires you to be 100% onsite in Seattle. You will engage in tasks such as candidate reach outs, phone screens, setting up assessments, and preparing candidates. The work environment is fast-paced and involves a lot of candidate interactions and collaboration with peers. You will undergo a one-week onboarding with recruiter ramp training.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
