Position Summary
Riverside Metro Auto Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Volkswagen Warranty Administrator to join our team. This position is responsible for processing and managing manufacturer warranty claims while ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and compliance with Volkswagen warranty policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and knowledgeable about automotive service and warranty processes. Volkswagen or dealership warranty experience is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit Volkswagen warranty claims accurately and within required timelines.
- Review repair orders for proper documentation, technician notes, labor operations, parts, and required authorization.
- Ensure warranty claims comply with Volkswagen policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Monitor submitted claims and promptly address rejected, returned, or unpaid claims.
- Process warranty claim corrections, adjustments, and resubmissions as needed.
- Maintain accurate warranty records and supporting documentation.
- Track warranty receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist with warranty audits and maintain documentation necessary for audit compliance.
- Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts personnel, and Service Management to resolve warranty-related issues.
- Stay current on Volkswagen warranty policies, bulletins, recalls, campaigns, and procedural updates.
- Identify documentation or process issues and communicate necessary corrections to the appropriate team members.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership warranty administration experience preferred.
- Volkswagen warranty experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturer warranty claim procedures and dealership service operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to review repair orders and identify missing or incorrect documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems and standard computer applications.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Service, Parts, and Accounting teams.
