Time period
- From February/March 2027 for a period of 6 months
Tasks
- Support ongoing development projects to gain insight into the working methods and development processes of a leading automotive supplier
- Contribute to the concept development of automotive HVAC systems
- Become familiar with MAHLE's validation and simulation tools, particularly in the fields of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and acoustics
- Independently apply acquired knowledge to HVAC concept development and competitive benchmarking, with a focus on electromobility
- Design and build prototypes
- Plan, perform, and evaluate tests on test benches and vehicles
Requirements
- Currently, purely voluntary internships cannot be offered
- Enrolled in an engineering or natural sciences degree program (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
- Basic knowledge of CAD and engineering design
- Basic knowledge of acoustics is an advantage
