Job Summary

We are looking for a Concept Design Engineer with strong expertise in sheet metal design, concept development, 3D modeling, and detailing using PTC Creo. The candidate will be responsible for transforming engineering concepts into manufacturable designs while supporting product development, documentation, and release activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop concept designs and convert requirements into detailed engineering solutions.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using PTC Creo .
- Design and develop sheet metal components, fabricated structures, and assemblies.
- Prepare detailed drawings with GD&T and manufacturing specifications.
- Perform design feasibility studies and support product development activities.
- Create and maintain BOMs, engineering documentation, and product structures.
- Review designs for manufacturability, cost optimization, and quality requirements.
- Support engineering change implementation and design revisions.
- Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, design guidelines, and customer requirements.

Work Experience

- Expert-level experience in PTC Creo (Part Modeling, Assembly & Detailing) .
- Strong expertise in Sheet Metal Design and Detailing .
- Experience in Concept Design and Product Development .
- Engineering Drawing Creation and Interpretation.
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- BOM Management and Product Structure Maintenance.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Windchill or Teamcenter PLM.
- AutoCAD.
- Weldment and Fabrication Design.
- Industrial Equipment or Power Generation products.
- Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR).
- Tolerance Stack-up Analysis.
- Creo Advanced Sheet Metal Features.
