Work Experience
Job Summary
We are seeking a Gas Turbine Systems Design Engineer with strong experience in
mechanical design and development of gas turbine systems using Creo. The role involves
design, modeling, detailing, system integration, and engineering documentation of gas
turbine components and auxiliary systems. The engineer will work closely with cross
functional teams to deliver robust, manufacturable, and serviceable turbine system
designs.
Key Responsibilities
• Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using Creo.
• Design and develop gas turbine systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Develop and maintain CAD models, product structures, and engineering
documentation.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and support GD&T implementation.
• Review technical specifications, design requirements, and interface documents.
• Support design validation, manufacturing, assembly, and field issue resolution.
• Collaborate with stress, thermal, manufacturing, quality, and service engineering
teams.
• Participate in design reviews, engineering change management, and continuous
improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, industry codes, and company
design practices.
Mandatory Skills
• Strong proficiency in PTC Creo (Part Modeling, Assembly, Detailing).
• Experience in Gas Turbine Systems Design.
• Mechanical design and product development experience.
• Engineering drawing creation and interpretation.
• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Tolerance analysis and manufacturing feasibility reviews.
• BOM creation and product structure management.
• Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR).
• Strong understanding of mechanical components, assemblies, and system
integration.
Preferred Skills
• Windchill PLM.
• Gas Turbine Package Design.
• Rotor, Casing, Combustion, Exhaust, Air Intake, Fuel or Auxiliary Systems Design.
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• FEA exposure using ANSYS or similar tools.
• Knowledge of ASME standards and engineering design practices.
• Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
