Job Requirements
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Serve as the full-time Scrum Master for two Agile teams , enabling effective, predictable, sustainable and high-quality delivery.
· Facilitate effective Scrum events, ensuring they are purpose-driven, outcome-oriented and aligned with Sprint and Product Goals .
· Partner with Product Owners to enable effective backlog management, prioritization, refinement and Sprint readiness .
· Proactively identify and remove impediments, risks and cross-team dependencies impacting team effectiveness and delivery.
· Coach and guide teams in Agile/Lean practices , fostering value delivery, self-management, ownership and accountability.
· Establish a culture of continuous improvement , translating retrospective insights into measurable actions and sustained improvements.
· Foster collaboration, transparencyand constructive conflict resolution within and across teams.
· Use team and delivery insights to identify systemic issues, bottlenecks and opportunities for improving flow and delivery effectiveness .
· Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners to share best practices and drive Agile maturity and improvements across the organization .
Progressively take on broader team leadership responsibilities , including mentoring, people development and team management, based on demonstrated capability and organizational needs.
Experience & Skill Set:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline .
· 8–10 years of industry experience in software/product development environments.
· 2–3+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master , working with teams actively applying Agile/Scrum practices.
· Strong practical knowledge of Scrum, Agile principles, empirical product development, Lean practices and continuous improvement .
· Proven ability to coach teams beyond basic Scrum adoption towards self-management, ownership, accountability, predictability and continuous improvement .
· Experience working in complex technical/product development environments involving multiple stakeholders, teams and cross-team dependencies.
· Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices , including CI/CD, automated testing, version control, DevOps, cloud/containerization and release management.
· Ability to understand technical discussions, architectural constraints, dependencies, quality issues and delivery risks , and facilitate effective decision-making and resolution.
· Strong facilitation, coaching and conflict-resolution skills , with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive outcomes.
· Strong ownership, accountability and proactive problem-solving mindset , with the ability to identify and address systemic issues.
· Good knowledge of estimation, risk management, data interpretation, root-cause analysis and Agile metrics .
· Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills , with experience working across functions, teams and organizational levels.
· CSM, PSM or equivalent Scrum certification is preferred.
· Exposure to SAFe or other Agile scaling frameworks is an advantage.
· Experience in the medical/healthcare domain and familiarity with relevant product development processes is an added advantage.
· Demonstrated people leadership and development capabilities , with the ability and willingness to mentor, develop and motivate team members and progressively take on broader team leadership responsibilities.
Work Experience
8–10 years of industry experience in software/product development environments.
