We’ve got the brands, we’ve got the stars, we’ve got the power to achieve our mission to entertain the planet – now all we’re missing is… YOU! Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Together, we co-create moments that matter – both for our audiences and our employees – and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.

Your next step in finance, with real ownership

Are you a couple of years into your accounting career and ready for more than month-end tasks? Join Paramount's Controllership team in Budapest and own the accounting for compensation-related activity across our international networks business.

You won't be buried in a back-office queue. You'll work directly with Treasury, Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash, and you'll help shape how accounting work moves into our Budapest hub over the coming years.

What you'll do

- Own your processes end to end, from monthly journals, accruals and prepayments to account reconciliations and balance sheet rollforwards

- Turn the numbers into insight by building the financial and operational metrics the business uses to make decisions

- Partner with Finance and Operations colleagues across the organisation, and be the person they come to when they need an answer

- Help migrate new accounting activities into Budapest, and standardise how we do things as we grow

- Spot where we can work smarter, then fix it. We want your ideas and we'll give you room to run with them

- Keep our controls strong (SOX) and work with external auditors on quarterly and annual reviews

- Pick up ad hoc analysis and management requests, and support your manager and team when needed

What you bring

- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

- 2+ years of accounting experience across a mix of activities (journals, reconciliations, close)

- A solid grasp of general accounting principles

- Business-level English, written and spoken (B2/C1+)

- Confident Excel skills, plus Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint

- A proactive, structured approach: you see things through to the end

- Experience in a shared services or multinational environment

- SOX or audit exposure

- A track record of improving a process you've worked on
