About this role

Your Contribution:

As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading production operations by optimizing personnel, equipment, and manufacturing resources to achieve production, productivity, quality, and financial objectives. You will ensure a safe and healthy work environment while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Coordinate production activities to ensure customer requirements and production schedules are achieved.

- Lead and develop supervisors, engineers, technicians, and indirect personnel to maximize operational performance.

- Ensure compliance with established manufacturing procedures, engineering standards, and quality system requirements.

- Monitor and analyze production, quality, productivity, and scrap metrics, implementing corrective actions and improvement strategies.

- Oversee workforce planning, training, onboarding, development, and promotion activities.

- Support new product launches and coordinate all related production activities.

- Ensure accurate production and scrap reporting, maintaining proper documentation and records.

- Present operational performance results and improvement plans to Production and Plant Management.

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and promote a culture of teamwork and operational excellence.

- Manage departmental resources, including budget justifications and acquisition of additional resources when required.

- Ensure the continuous and efficient operation of production lines while maintaining company standards.

- Promote and enforce compliance with company policies related to Quality, Safety, Health, Environment, OEA, and C-TPAT requirements.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

- 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, engineers, technicians, and indirect personnel in a manufacturing environment.

- Automotive industry experience required, with strong understanding of automotive manufacturing terminology and processes (candidates with prior automotive experience within the last 6 years will be considered).

- Knowledge of stamping and assembly manufacturing processes.

- Experience with CQI and BDA methodologies.

- Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards; experience with ISO management systems is highly desirable.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and continuous improvement skills.

- Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and team development capabilities.

- Experience supporting production performance metrics, quality initiatives, and operational excellence programs.
