Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Weekends and Holidays Required
Position Summary
Huntleigh USA is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Cabin Cleaners to join our team at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas. The Cabin Cleaner plays a critical role in maintaining clean, safe, and orderly aircraft interiors while supporting our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence.
This position is responsible for ensuring aircraft are properly cleaned, sanitized, inspected, and prepared for passenger use while maintaining compliance with company, airline, and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements. Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform vacuuming, wiping, trash removal, and general cleaning of aircraft interiors.
- Remove and properly dispose of trash and debris from aircraft cabins.
- Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct thorough aircraft searches in accordance with training and TSA requirements.
- Inspect all designated aircraft areas during each cleaning assignment.
- Identify and report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or unusual conditions.
- Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Complete incident reports for accidents, injuries, or unusual events.
- Maintain compliance with company, airline, and TSA policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all uniform, attendance, safety, and operational standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, and access all areas of an aircraft cabin.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to safely move supplies and equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass an FBI background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment preferred.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures preferred.

Work Environment
Work is performed in active airport and aircraft environments. Employees may be exposed to:
- Moving vehicles and equipment
- Cleaning chemicals and related odors
- Moderate to high noise levels
- Varying weather conditions and temperatures
- Wet or humid environments
- Fumes, vibrations, and other operational conditions common to airport settings

· Reliable transportation
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Eligible to work in the United States
· Aircraft cleaning experience (preferred, but not required)
· Eligible to pass an FBI background check (for airport badge clearance purposes)
