Position Summary
Huntleigh USA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cabin Cleaner Manager to oversee aircraft cabin cleaning operations at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). This leadership role is responsible for managing Cabin Service Agents, ensuring compliance with airline standards, maintaining operational efficiency, and promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and superior service.
The ideal candidate will have previous management experience, janitorial or cabin cleaning experience, strong leadership abilities, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced airport environment.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
Availability Requirements

- 100% flexibility required regarding work hours and shift assignments
- Must be available to work varying shifts based on operational needs
- Overtime opportunities may be available based on business demands
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to all Cabin Service Agents on duty
- Ensure aircraft interiors are cleaned according to airline specifications and task card requirements
- Conduct inspections and approve completed cleaning assignments
- Monitor staffing levels, productivity, and labor hour utilization
- Request, assign, and approve overtime as operationally necessary
- Maintain accurate operational records and provide end-of-shift turnover reports
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all TSA security requirements
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HAZMAT regulations
- Ensure USDA regulations and required logs are properly maintained
- Enforce airline, airport, and company policies and procedures
- Promote a safe work environment and address safety concerns promptly
Quality Control
- Conduct quality audits and aircraft inspections
- Submit inspection findings and operational updates to airline and company leadership
- Ensure all aircraft cleaning standards are consistently achieved
Employee Management
- Monitor attendance, sick leave, and leaves of absence
- Provide coaching, training, performance management, and corrective action when necessary
- Foster a positive and productive team environment
- Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements when applicable
Facility & Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory levels and ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure hangars, fleet vehicles, and operational facilities remain clean, organized, and compliant with company standards
Qualifications
- Previous management or supervisory experience required
- Previous janitorial and/or aircraft cabin cleaning experience required
- Experience in aviation, airline, airport, or facilities operations preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment
- Knowledge of TSA, OSHA, HAZMAT, and USDA regulations preferred
- Ability to maintain operational records and reports
- Valid driver's license required
- Clean driving record required
- Reliable transportation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must successfully pass all required criminal background checks
- Must be able to obtain and maintain airport security clearance and badging
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and perform physical job duties
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely perform all essential job functions in an active airport environment
