University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide in-home support and assistance to clients in Whitmore Lake, MI. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require help with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide mobility assistance and support to clients needing help moving around their home.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure clients' nutritional needs are met.
- Manage light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
- Assist with medication reminders and monitor clients health conditions as instructed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote clients mental and emotional well-being.
- Document care activities and report any changes in client condition to supervisory staff promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation may be required.
