University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Attendant to provide high-quality care to clients in Casco, MI. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their homes. This role requires a patient and trustworthy individual committed to making a positive difference in clients lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Monitor clients health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff.
- Ensure clients safety by following care plans and adhering to all company policies.
- Assist with mobility and transportation as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
