Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Ecommerce Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the Jonathan Adler ecommerce business, with a strong focus on Shopify, ecommerce systems, and site functionality .
The ideal candidate is highly comfortable working in Shopify and across a variety of ecommerce platforms and applications. This person should have enough technical knowledge to troubleshoot issues, work effectively with developers and vendors, and manage integrations. Strong Excel and data analysis skills are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Shopify ecommerce site.
- Oversee product setup, catalog, collections, pricing, inventory visibility, and site content.
- Monitor site functionality and troubleshoot technical, product, and customer experience issues.
- Manage Shopify apps, integrations, product feeds, and third-party ecommerce platforms.
- Partner with developers and external vendors on site enhancements, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate new product launches, promotions, seasonal updates, and site changes.
- Ensure product information, imagery, pricing, and content are accurate and up to date.
- Support site search, navigation, filters, taxonomy, and overall site merchandising.
- Manage and maintain ecommerce processes and workflows.
- Create and maintain Excel reports and analyze sales, traffic, conversion, AOV, product performance, and other ecommerce metrics.
- Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, Product, Creative, Customer Service, and Operations teams to support ecommerce initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve site performance, processes, and overall ecommerce operations.
Qualifications
- 4–7+ years of experience in ecommerce, ecommerce operations, digital operations, or a related role.
- Strong hands-on Shopify experience; Shopify Plus is a plus.
- Basic HTML/CSS or JavaScript knowledge.
- Comfortable managing ecommerce systems, applications, integrations, and technology vendors.
- Basic development/technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with developers.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data.
- Experience managing large product catalogs and product data.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ERP, OMS, PIM, or product feed systems.
- Experience with Amazon or other marketplaces.

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $100k-$120k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
