Job Description

Pay Rate: $29.90 per hour

Work Schedule

- Initial schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Administrative Schedule).
- Beginning in Q1, the position will transition to a rotating 2-2-3 shift pattern based on business needs.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate forklifts and other Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment to move materials and finished products throughout the facility.
- Follow and remain aligned with established work procedures for logistics and warehouse activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines to support manufacturing operations.
- Load, handle, and unload materials from local and international suppliers across multiple warehouse locations.
- Prepare and ship finished goods to distribution centers.
- Receive, unpack, and deliver goods while complying with FSC requirements.
- Consolidate materials and create kits for production work orders.
- Pick materials and create inventory splits based on operational requirements.
- Perform intermediate troubleshooting of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and automated material handling systems.
- Put away and retrieve materials safely within Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) environments.
- Process material returns using both manual methods and automated scale systems.
- Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Repack materials and update product labeling and system records as required.
- Investigate system deltas and inventory variances and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP to accurately manage inventory and material movement transactions.

Tasks

- Interact with automated equipment and follow established material flow processes.
- Monitor AGVs and automated systems for performance and operational issues.
- Troubleshoot system and operational errors and escalate issues when necessary.
- Escalate equipment failures to Maintenance when material flow is impacted.
- Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Utilize desktop computers, handheld devices, and RF scan guns to complete inventory and warehouse transactions.
- Perform pre-shift inspections and complete equipment checklists before operating PIT equipment.
- Change batteries for PIT equipment in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory investigations, and inventory reconciliations.
- Process returns and investigate inventory discrepancies within WMS and SAP systems.
- Work at heights when performing inventory investigations, cycle counts, and material retrieval activities.
- Follow the guidelines established in accordance with LEGO Group Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality policies.
- Comply with global and local processes supporting OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3 to 4 years of logistics, warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience.
- Strong systems orientation with advanced experience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably SAP.
- Experience operating Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment.
- Experience using handheld scanners and RF scan guns.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement transactions.
- Experience performing cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory investigations.
- Experience processing material returns and researching inventory discrepancies.
- Experience investigating system deltas and resolving inventory-related issues.
- Experience working with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and automated warehouse systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational and system-related errors and escalate issues appropriately.
- Ability to safely work at heights.
- Experience changing batteries for PIT equipment.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience participating in process improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to process engineering concepts within manufacturing or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, or related methodologies.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $29.90 - $29.90 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
