About this role

Job Description

As Global Job Trainer you have the responsibility of preparing, training and sharing best practice with Local Job Trainers and vendors globally and locally. This includes developing and aligning global standards across all sites being active in building up training competencies and implementing standards through the Global Job Trainer network.

Becoming an expert on the mechanical function of new production equipment as well as knowledgeable of Electrical and Software qualities.
Local Responsibilities
- Design and implement training plans for Local Job Trainers (LJTs), TTCs, and Shadows, covering new technologies, updates, and process improvements.
- Act as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting, developing and documenting solutions for complex operational issues in collaboration with Maintenance Engineers.
- Coach and support trainers to build specialized knowledge, standardize solutions, and integrate them into training programs.
- Monitor training plan completion, analyze results, and implement actions to improve training performance metrics.
- Develop and execute strategies for delivering complex technical training across the organization.
- Lead Train-the-Trainer activities to ensure trainers remain aligned with operational changes, updates, and global standards.
- Maintain and strengthen personal technical expertise through hands-on operational involvement.
Global Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Global Job Trainers to share best practices and standardize training methods across sites.
- Test and validate global improvements to support continuous improvement and standardization.
- Participate in local and global networking activities, workshops, and collaboration forums.
- Adapt and deploy global training updates locally, ensuring trainers are quickly prepared to transfer knowledge to the workforce.
Training Documentation & Systems
- Ensure training materials are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Create and revise training documentation in partnership with production, engineering, and other process owners.
- Maintain training software and systems to support all training personnel.
- Prepare, train, and certify LJTs, TTCs, and Shadows to effectively train employees and collaborate with vendors.
- Ensure trainers are equipped with the proper methods, materials, and documentation before delivering training, with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and compliance.
