As Packing Supervisor , you will lead a team of production operators, ensuring the production plan is delivered while developing your people and creating an environment where safety, quality, collaboration and continuous improvement come first. The role also offers exposure beyond day-to-day production, including collaboration across functions and opportunities to contribute to topics such as brand protection and novelty confidentiality.
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop a team of operators, creating a safe, collaborative and high-performing working environment.
- Drive production plan fulfillment by effectively managing resources, production sequencing and daily operational priorities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, product quality and integrated management system requirements, demonstrating visible leadership in QEHS.
- Monitor area KPIs, identify performance gaps and drive corrective actions through structured problem solving and root-cause analysis.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of relevant LCI tools.
- Execute people processes and capability-building activities, including training and individual development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and contribute to the deployment of business strategy within the team.
- Protect employees and product quality by taking appropriate action, including stopping or escalating operations when safety or quality could be compromised.
Do You Have What It Takes?
We are looking for a people-focused leader who combines strong operational understanding with the ability to motivate a diverse team and deliver results.
Ideally, you have:
- Experience as a Production Leader , including experience leading teams of at least 30 operators.
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and develop team members.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities, including the ability to build effective local and global relationships.
- A collaborative mindset, service orientation and high standards of personal and professional ethics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- The ability to balance operational priorities with a holistic and strategic perspective when making short- and medium-term decisions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project execution and integrated safety and quality management systems.
· Work Shift 4x4 (6:00am to 6:00pm - 6:00pm to 6:00am)
- Advanced English communication skills, both spoken and written.
Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position
