FTS Cloud Services - Sr Cloud Solutions Architect

About your role:

You will provide technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of enterprise infrastructure solutions that support Fiserv's strategic business objectives. You will collaborate across technology and business teams to establish scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure architectures while driving modernization initiatives and operational excellence. Your expertise will help ensure infrastructure platforms meet evolving business, regulatory, performance, and security requirements.

What you will do:

- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise infrastructure architecture strategies, standards, and roadmaps.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with organizational goals and priorities.
- Develop scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for complex infrastructure initiatives and technology transformations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Create and maintain architecture artifacts, standards, reference models, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and application teams to ensure successful technology integration and deployment.
- Identify and mitigate infrastructure risks related to performance, scalability, resiliency, and security.
- Mentor and provide guidance to architects, engineers, and other technology professionals on architecture best practices.
- Support governance processes and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and technology strategies.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
- 12+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, systems engineering, or related technology disciplines.
- 4+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions.
- 4+ years of experience integrating complex technology platforms and services.
- Experience with public cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence technical decisions across multiple teams.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security, availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency principles.
- 6+ months of experience working with Fiserv platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures.
- Experience supporting highly regulated environments, preferably within financial services, fintech, banking, or payments industries.
- Relevant cloud, infrastructure, or architecture certifications.

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
