Infrastructure Engineering - Advisor I
What does a successful Infrastructure Engineering - Advisor I do at Fiserv?
A successful Infrastructure Engineering - Advisor I manages and optimizes infrastructure systems that support operations, growth, and reliable performance. This role leads infrastructure design and implementation efforts, resolves complex system issues, and helps ensure high availability across environments. Working with cross-functional teams, this position drives continuous improvement through system reviews, upgrade recommendations, and adoption of modern infrastructure technologies.
What you will do?
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust infrastructure solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Optimize infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure architecture with enterprise goals.
- Conduct regular system audits and provide recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
- Stay current on infrastructure technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement.
What you must have?
- 6+ years of experience in infrastructure design and management.
- 3+ years of experience with network management, cloud infrastructure, and containerization technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- 3+ years of experience in performance tuning and optimization, infrastructure security, and data integration and ETL processes.
- 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
What would be nice to have?
- 1+ years of experience with DevOps practices.
- 1+ years of experience with automation scripting for infrastructure management.
- 1+ years of experience with infrastructure scaling technologies.
