Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Full-time
Salary: $19 –$22 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: 3-4 day work weeks with rotating Saturdays

Since 2008, The Downtown Toronto Cat Clinic has been providing exceptional, feline-exclusive veterinary care to cats and the families who love them. We’re a progressive, team-oriented practice where every team member’s contributions are valued, and where a calm, cat-friendly experience starts at the front desk.
We’re looking for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist who thrives in a busy clinic, enjoys connecting with clients, and wants to grow their career in a compassionate, supportive cat-only practice. As our Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll be the friendly first point of contact for our clients and the glue that keeps our day running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
- Greet clients warmly and communicate professionally by phone, email, and in person
- Schedule appointments, check clients in and out, and process payments
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient and client records
- Resolve client questions and concerns in line with hospital policies
- Relay client needs and concerns to veterinarians and support staff
- Accurately dispense medications as directed by veterinarians
- Help technicians and veterinarians with patient restraint when needed
- Keep the front desk organized and the hospital workflow running efficiently
- Create a welcoming, calm experience for every client and feline patient
What You’ll Bring
- Previous veterinary clinic or Veterinary Receptionist experience preferred
- A passion for animals (especially cats!) and for high-quality veterinary care
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate communication skills
- A positive attitude and an upbeat personality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Availability for weekday shifts and scheduled Saturdays
