Position Description:
The Program Supervisor will develop a service delivery system that meets the changing needs of community partners and grant funders. This position will provide non-clinical family assessments, crisis intervention; family and volunteer recruitment, screening, and training; and design and implementation of services with limited resources. The Program Supervisor will also develop a team of staff who provide comprehensive services to children and their families or supervise a function in a particular service unit that is responsible for assuring appropriate services to children and their families. This position is accountable to the Program Manager for overall administrative management and operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and assume accountability for the development, management, implementation, and evaluation of all assigned services to ensure quality of services.
- Provide routine supervision for all direct reports and responsibly assesses job performance at least annually.
- Lead talent management efforts, including hiring and retaining high-quality staff.
- Assure compliance with all agency policies/procedures, COA Accreditation Standards, and all applicable licensing standards.
- Monitor budget allocations and maintain balance between revenue and expenses.
- Ensure educational/training needs of staff are being met and ensure curriculum fidelity.
- Responsible for ensuring teamwork and collaboration with other services to secure coordinated service delivery.
- Develop public education and information materials, presentations, newsletters, and media outreach.
- Represent the agency in the community, developing effective interagency relationships for program improvement and new program development.
- Organize and participate at community outreach activities to educate the broader community about the Agency, our activities, and projects.
- Moderate focus groups, interviews, and community meetings.
- Work directly with GMOE team to manage grant projects including budgets, outcomes, outputs, and reporting requirements.
- Provide oversight to program activities and report the status of program services goals monthly to the Director of Clinical Services.
- Take initiative to collaborate both within the agency as well as the community to assure the responsive and appropriate delivery of services.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Social Work or human services related field required.
- Must be certified in required curriculums or be able to attain such certification within the first year of employment. Employment is contingent on acquisition of minimal certification/licensure.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with caregivers of children, parents or families.
- Minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bilingual in Spanish. English required.
- Masters degree in Social Work or human services related field.

- Knowledge of Social Work / Clinical practices.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professional, confidential work environment.
- Ability to work with culturally diverse populations and work force.
- Ability to work flexible hours which vary according to client needs.
- Requires specific knowledge, experience, and creativity.
- Ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
Work Conditions :
- Environment: Office, Community Settings
- Work Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Travel: Local (Must have reliable transportation, valid Texas Driver License and current Auto Insurance)
