Senior Financial Analyst, Growth Marketing Finance – Affiliates & Enterprise Commercial
Growth Marketing Finance is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis team, supporting the Strategic Partnerships & Affiliates (SPA) channel and enterprise commercial initiatives spanning Expedia Group's consumer brands.
Do you have excellent financial analysis skills and a passion for channel economics and partner-driven growth? Do you know how to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable commercial insight for both financial and non-financial partners? Are you excited to help shape how EG grows its affiliate and branded partnership channels into the future? Then this role is for you!
What you will do:
SPA Affiliate Channel Finance
· Partner with the SPA Affiliates channel team to develop financial insights that drive profitability and growth across EG's affiliate partner portfolio
· Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly affiliate channel financial reporting & Close process — including spend, commission, bookings/NBV, and gross profit performance versus plan and prior periods
· Perform variance analysis and outlook forecasting for affiliate channel costs and revenue, communicating key drivers clearly to channel leaders and senior finance stakeholders
· Translate affiliate channel economics (commissions, attribution, coupon costs, ROAS) into commercial insights that directly inform marketing investment decisions
· Evaluate commercial viability of new affiliate partner deals and launches, including partner-level profitability, commission structures, and incremental value contribution
· Partner with SPA data, analytics, and engineering teams to improve forecast accuracy, reporting quality, and spend visibility across the affiliate partner base
· Support affiliate channel-level business cases for product and capability investments
Enterprise Commercial & Cross-Brand Support
· Provide financial planning and analytical support for enterprise commercial initiatives spanning EG's consumer brands — including card-linked offers, co-branded landing experiences, affiliate-aware search, and app-routed affiliate traffic programs
· Partner with cross-functional teams across Brand Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo to evaluate the financial impact of new branded partnership and loyalty-linked products (e.g. OneKey, points exchange, loyalty-connected co-branded experiences)
· Build and maintain financial models that quantify cross-channel and cross-brand implications of SPA investment decisions, including capital allocation tradeoffs versus other demand channels
· Increase rigor in marketing and financial processes to further enable transparency and accountability of commercial spend across channels and brands
· Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support EG-wide strategic commercial initiatives as needed
Who you are:
· Advanced analytical, modeling, and forecasting skills; Claude Code, AI, Advanced Excel and SQL proficiency required
· Experience in marketing finance, channel finance, or affiliate/partnership commercial roles strongly preferred
· Ability to interpret and communicate channel economics data for both financial and non-financial audiences
· High intellectual curiosity that drives a sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement
· Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed environment
· BA required; MBA preferred
· 3+ years of relevant experience with increasing levels of responsibility
