As a Human Resources Advisor, you'll be the trusted first point of contact for employees and leaders, providing advice, guidance and support across a broad range of people matters. Whether you're helping someone navigate leave, resolving a payroll query, or supporting a leader with a people process, you'll play an important role in delivering a positive and consistent experience. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume contact centre environment, you'll combine your HR knowledge, problem-solving skills and customer focus to help people confidently navigate every stage of their employment journey.
This is an eight-month fixed term job opportunity based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney). To support the needs of the team, this role is based in Sydney only and is not open to applicants located elsewhere in Australia.
What You'll Do
- Provide timely and accurate HR advice to employees and leaders across leave, payroll, recruitment, performance, conduct and employment-related enquiries.
- Manage a high volume of work across phone, chat and case management channels while delivering a positive customer experience.
- Research and apply policies, procedures and guidelines to deliver consistent, practical and compliant advice across a range of people matters.
- Collaborate with specialist People teams and stakeholders to resolve complex enquiries and ensure timely outcomes for employees and leaders.
- Support employees through sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism and sound judgement while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and maintaining service level commitments.
What You'll Bring
- A background in Human Resources or Shared Services
- Confidence supporting employees and leaders with HR processes, policies and employment related enquiries.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and creating positive employee experiences.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Sound problem-solving skills and the confidence to research information, interpret guidance and provide practical solutions.
- Familiarity with HR systems and case management platforms, with exposure to SuccessFactors or ServiceNow considered advantageous.
