About this role

This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of UNITE, one of Australia's largest transformation programs. You'll work across strategy, delivery and technology teams, helping bring together information from across a complex portfolio to identify key themes, surface risks and opportunities, and provide insights that support decision-making.

As a Strategic Programs Associate, you'll turn complex information into clear, meaningful narratives, helping leaders understand what matters, why it matters and where attention is needed. You'll work closely with program teams, contribute to executive reporting and governance, and help simplify complexity across a large-scale transformation environment.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, critical thinking and making sense of ambiguity. It offers the opportunity to build strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, providing a solid foundation for future careers in strategy, consulting, transformation or business leadership.

What do I need?

- Experience creating high quality executive reporting, presentations or governance materials for senior stakeholders

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify themes, connect information from multiple sources and draw meaningful insights

- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to turn complex programme, delivery and risk information into concise narratives with a clear purpose

- Confidence partnering with stakeholders across business and technology to gather information, challenge assumptions and drive outcomes

- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity and maintain visibility of key risks, dependencies and milestones

- Excellent attention to detail, sound judgement and a continuous improvement mindset

- A curious and proactive mindset, with the confidence to ask questions, investigate issues beyond the surface and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Advanced knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
