What You'll Do

IT Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for integrating security practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud infrastructure operations on BCG Knowledge portfolio’s cloud-based services and infrastructure. This role bridges development, operations, and security teams to ensure applications and infrastructure are secure by design.

Job Responsibilities:

- Ability to execute a cloud infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals.
- Design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures across AWS, Azure
- Manage cloud workloads, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated deployments (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, uptime, and optimization.
- Establish cost management best practices across cloud infrastructure
- Automate provisioning and scaling: Implement Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration for scalability
- Deploy security monitoring and compliance automation tools like Veracode, Prisma Cloud.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for seamless cloud deployments.
- Implement serverless computing solutions (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Optimize log management, observability, and monitoring using Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK.
- Support ML Ops for AI-driven applications: Automate ML model training and deployment pipelines.
- Implement edge computing solutions: Optimize infrastructure for low-latency applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to align cloud infrastructure with BCG's IT objectives.
- Develop and execute incident response plans to ensure quick resolution of cloud-related outages.
- Implement real-time monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection.

What You'll Bring

Must haves:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud platform engineering like AWS or Azure.
- 4 years plus experience with docker and Kubernetes.
- 3 years plus experience with Jenkins/CircleCI/Octopus and other CI/CD Tools.
- 3 Years plus experience in packer/Terraform. Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Experience in Cloud Networking VPC, VPN, Load Balancers, DNS
- Experience with Sonarqube, Veracode and monitoring tool like Datadog
- Experience in secrets management like HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, CyberArk
- Experience in Vector DB or Graph DB

Good to have:

- AWS or Azure Certifications
- Application development experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes addons, security, monitoring, scaling etc.

- It is necessary to have the ability to understand and manage complex reporting relationships and incorporate multiple labor laws and cultures.
