## Position Details
Role: MIS Intern Location: Manesar Internship Duration: 4–6 months Work Mode: Work from Office Department: Operations / Production / MIS

## Role Purpose
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Intern to support data management, reporting, and business tracking activities at our Manesar location. The intern will be responsible for preparing MIS reports, maintaining trackers, analyzing operational data, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting different teams with timely reporting. This role is suitable for candidates who are comfortable working with large amounts of data and have good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

MIS Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Maintain operational and performance-related reports.
- Update reports and dashboards as per business requirements.
- Track key data points and highlight important trends or deviations.
- Ensure reports are shared with relevant stakeholders within timelines.
- Support preparation of management review reports and presentations.

Data Management & Analysis

- Collect data from different departments and consolidate it into standardized formats.
- Manage and analyze data using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain multiple trackers related to production, manpower, quality, inventory, attendance, productivity, or other operational areas.
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and inconsistencies.
- Verify data accuracy before publishing reports.
- Identify missing or incorrect data and coordinate with relevant teams for correction.

Excel & Reporting Support

- Work extensively on Microsoft Excel for reporting and data management.
- Use formulas and functions such as: VLOOKUP
- XLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- IF formulas
- SUMIF / SUMIFS
- COUNTIF / COUNTIFS
- Data Filters
- Conditional Formatting
- Basic Charts

- Create and maintain structured Excel trackers.
- Support automation and simplification of repetitive reports wherever possible.

Coordination

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Planning, HR, and other teams for data collection.
- Follow up with departments for pending data and report updates.
- Ensure information received from different teams is captured accurately.
- Support internal reviews by providing required data and reports.

Documentation

- Maintain proper records of MIS reports and trackers.
- Ensure files are organized and easily accessible.
- Maintain historical data for comparison and trend analysis.
- Follow reporting formats and documentation standards.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel .
- Hands-on understanding of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and basic Excel formulas .
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with large datasets.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple reports and deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of PowerPoint and MS Office will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of dashboards or Power BI will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

- Graduate / Final-year student in B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Sc., Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Commerce, Business Analytics, or a related field .
- Candidates with good Excel knowledge will be preferred.
- Freshers and candidates looking for internship exposure in MIS, operations, or manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Comfortable working from our Manesar location .
- Available for a 4–6 month internship .
- Strong interest in MIS, data reporting, operations, or analytics.
- Comfortable working with Excel-based reports and large datasets.
- Candidates with previous internship or project experience in MIS, Excel, reporting, or data analysis will be preferred.
