Job Summary
The Senior Upstream Gas Marketing Representative independently secures and manages gas gathering, processing, and transportation services with limited to no oversight. This senior role applies advanced knowledge of midstream systems, regional gas markets, and commercial drivers; leads customer negotiations; performs complex market and economic analysis; and owns day-to-day decision-making within Delegation of Authority.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently manages gathering, processing, and transportation services for the assigned area.
- Leads customer negotiations and structure contracts and agreements with limited oversight.
- Performs market research, economic evaluations, and financial analysis to position sales strategically.
- Tracks drilling, production, and well-connect schedules and maintains acute awareness of pricing impacts and market fundamentals.
- Helps train and oversee junior marketing representatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in gas marketing (preferably in an E&P environment).
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an E&P environment.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
