The Foreman coordinate activities of construction staff delegating daily work assignments. This position is reserved for those work assignments requiring a significant level of autonomy and judgement making.
Expected Outcomes
- Act as lead individual in a portion of a large function out in the field.
- Provide training to new staff.
- Responsible for timely completion of tasks on a project.
- Maintain knowledge of Hazardous Waste Manifest, Transportation requirements, and knowledge of equipment.
- Responsibility includes staying within the scope of the project and maintaining a quality execution of project.
- Perform senior level construction work. Assignment of the job is related to the responsibility level of incumbent, to be left up to supervisor.
- In the absence of the Superintendent may fulfill the role.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- HS plus 10 years of relevant experience with 1-2 years in a lead role or equivalent.
- Knowledge of equipment, sampling, shipping, labeling, Hazardous Waste Manifest and Transportation Requirements.
- Basic 40 Hour Training. Certified in Red Cross First Aid and CPR.
- Site Health and Safety Coordinators Certification is required.
Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
