About this role

Senior Landscape Designer
$65,000-$80,000 salary + bonus
Do you know how to turn a client's vision into an outdoor space they can't wait to build — and confidently guide them from the first conversation to a signed project?

Currin Outdoor Living is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Designer to lead the creative vision and client design process for high-end residential and commercial outdoor living projects.
This isn't just a drafting position. You'll meet directly with clients, develop and present luxury landscape concepts, create detailed 2D construction documents and photorealistic 3D designs, and help move projects from initial consultation through design approval and construction handoff.

We're looking for someone who combines exceptional design ability, technical landscape knowledge, and strong client-facing communication skills.

What You'll Do

- Lead client consultations, design presentations, and project pitches
- Create compelling landscape and outdoor living concepts based on client goals, property conditions, and project scope

- Manage design details and project information from initial consultation through final handoff

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in the landscape design/build or landscape architecture industry
- Professional landscape design experience
- Strong proficiency with Rhino 3D and Autodesk AutoCAD-based programs
- Working knowledge of CAD and 3D modeling software

- Ability to take ownership of projects and follow details through completion

The Right Person for This Role

- You're more than a talented designer.
- You're comfortable sitting across from a client, listening to what they want, presenting your ideas with confidence, and explaining why a particular design works.
- You understand that a beautiful design also needs to be buildable and profitable.
- You're able to navigate conversations about budget, timelines, changes, and expectations without losing sight of the client's experience or the company's goals.
- And when it's time to hand a project to the construction team, you've created plans and documentation that allow them to confidently bring your vision to life.
