We are currently looking for a Sustainability and Philanthropy Intern to join our team in Franklin, TN. Our team is fast-paced, collaborative, and passionate about both Nissan and the communities we serve. We are dedicated to creating meaningful social impact through sustainability initiatives, community engagement, philanthropy programs, and employee volunteer efforts. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting projects that positively impact communities while working alongside a team committed to service, innovation, and corporate responsibility.

A Day in the Life:

- Support the administration and coordination of corporate grant programs and community investment initiatives.
- Assist with planning and facilitating community engagement events and philanthropic activities.
- Coordinate employee volunteer opportunities, campaigns, and service projects.
- Create and maintain content for SharePoint sites and internal communication platforms.
- Develop engaging presentations, visual materials, internal communications, and social media content to support sustainability and philanthropy initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For:

Required:

- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Business, Nonprofit Management, Public Affairs, Public Policy, Sustainability, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Students entering their Junior, Senior, or Master's program at the start of the upcoming academic term.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for building relationships and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexible, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine interest in sustainability, philanthropy, social impact, and community engagement.
- Experience creating presentations, communications, or digital content is preferred.
- GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)
- Ability to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN.
