About the Role

Join Perpetual Corporate Trust’s Governance and Oversight team and help strengthen the management of incidents, breaches and complaints involving outsourced service providers.  As Governance and Oversight Incident Manager, you will support an effective outsourcing framework that manages business risk exposure. Your focus will include investigating operational issues, overseeing service provider remediation and identifying control weaknesses and systemic issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage incidents, breaches and complaints involving outsourced service providers.
- Investigate operational issues, identify root causes and highlight control weaknesses or emerging risks.
- Review and challenge remediation plans, ensuring actions are delivered effectively and on time.
- Assess service provider performance and risk exposures, including oversight of service level agreements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to promote strong risk, compliance and customer outcomes.
- Prepare reporting, analysis and insights for management, committees and boards.
- Drive continuous improvements to incident management processes, governance practices and operational controls

About you

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

- A degree in law, business, accounting or economics
- At least three years of financial services experience, ideally with exposure to managed funds
- Previous experience monitoring administrators or registry providers, or working in a line 1 or line 2 risk and compliance role managing incidents will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of managed investment scheme operations and relevant legal, regulatory, compliance and risk frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Clear communication, stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
- The ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
