About this role

Position Summary:
This role will be the lead for marketing strategy development for a set of the properties as well as driving the analysis of marketing programs. The role will focus on database marketing, calendar development, promotion strategy and all marketing analysis.
Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Station Casinos’ “Beyond the Best” Company-wide culture and demonstrating Station Casinos’ Championship Service Standards at all times.
2. Help drive overall marketing strategy for properties
3. Manages and develops marketing and direct marketing calendars in consultation with the properties
4. Leads all aspects of management and planning of direct marketing initiatives
5. Develops and manages completion of all marketing analysis of direct mail programs, events, promotions and marketing projects
6. Leads team of marketing strategy and analysis specialists
7. Communicates direct marketing strategy efforts to VP of Database Marketing and other departments as necessary
8. Handles all recommendations and approval from post campaign analysis for improvement of future mailings; works with VP of Database Marketing for final decisions
9. Accountable for meeting and maintaining marketing metrics as set by VP of Database Marketing and senior management
10. Validate reports created by Team Members in the department to ensure accuracy of work. Must be able to delve into raw data sources and reporting tools to
identify opportunities for improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in analysis in the casino industry
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience leading others in analytical or strategic roles
3. Business degree or MBA preferred
4. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
5. Ability to write queries to extract information from databases. Cognos Authoring and SQL preferred.

Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. May require prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, etc.

Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access.
Tasks performed from a sitting or non-sitting position. Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
