Are you a passionate Pastry Chef ready to take the next step in your leadership career? We are seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef - Pastry to join our team, working exclusively within a single restaurant venue where you will have the opportunity to shape exceptional dessert experiences, mentor chefs, and contribute to a high-performing kitchen operation.

What You'll Be Doing

- Supporting the day-to-day leadership of the pastry kitchen within one dedicated restaurant.
- Creating and delivering high-quality desserts, cakes, pastries and plated sweets to exacting standards.
- Leading, coaching and developing Chefs de Partie, Commis Chefs and Apprentices.
- Maintaining exceptional food presentation, consistency and guest satisfaction.
- Assisting with rostering, labour management, food cost control and inventory management.
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP, food safety and workplace health and safety standards.

About You

- Certificate III & 4 in Patisserie or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience as a qualified Senior Chef, ideally within a premium hotel, restaurant or patisserie environment.
- Strong pastry skills with a genuine passion for creativity and presentation.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop kitchen teams.
- Sound understanding of food cost, labour management and kitchen operations.
- Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
