At Siemens Mobility, we empower transport providers worldwide to realize sustainable mobility solutions. As a leading technology company, we combine the real and digital worlds like no other in rail. In an open ecosystem, we bring together rolling stock, rail infrastructure, customer service, and software to enable sustainable, comfortable, and cost-effective rail traffic today.

Transform the everyday through your role in creating sustainable transport solutions.

Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Manager – Project Planning & Scheduling for our project team.

Create a better tomorrow with us.

Reporting into the Project Head, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, implementation and monitoring of the integrated civil works and rail systems project time schedule using Primavera software.

The key responsibilities include:

- Own the development and governance of the integrated project master schedule, transforming it into a strategic decision-making tool that aligns project execution, commercial objectives, contractual commitments, and client expectations across all civil, rail systems, testing, and commissioning workstreams.
- Develop and govern resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules in Primavera P6, ensuring optimal deployment of people, equipment, and budget across the project lifecycle. Drive cross-functional alignment through rolling wave planning and scenario-based forecasting to support informed executive decision-making.
- Serve as the project's authority on schedule performance by proactively identifying critical path threats, interface risks, and execution constraints. Establish data-driven mitigation, recovery, and acceleration strategies that protect key milestones, contractual obligations, and overall project profitability.
- Deliver high-impact schedule intelligence and performance analytics to senior leadership and clients, translating complex project data into actionable insights. Advise stakeholders on schedule risks, strategic trade-offs, resource priorities, and delivery scenarios to support timely and informed decisions.
- Lead forensic schedule analysis and time-impact assessments to support extension of time (EOT) claims, change management, dispute avoidance, and commercial negotiations. Provide strategic planning expertise to strengthen the project's contractual position and maximize entitlement recovery opportunities.
- Act as the central planning authority across consortium partners, contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaborative problem-solving to ensure alignment on project priorities, interface management, and critical delivery milestones.
- Establish a forward-looking planning culture by continuously evaluating emerging risks, opportunities, and project trends. Leverage predictive analytics and scenario modelling to identify potential schedule impacts early and influence project strategies before issues affect the critical path.
- Define and implement planning standards, project controls methodologies, and governance frameworks that drive consistency, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle, while supporting successful delivery of complex railway infrastructure programmes.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Planner, Lead Scheduler, or Planning Manager on large-scale railway, transportation, or infrastructure projects, with advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Strong background in project controls, progress measurement, schedule management, contractual reporting, and preparation of complex project documentation in challenging project environments.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices, including PMI, PMBOK, PRINCE2, or equivalent frameworks, with practical application in major infrastructure project delivery.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify schedule risks, assess project impacts, conduct forensic analysis, and proactively develop solutions before issues affect the critical path.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary planning teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively with clients, consortium partners, and senior management in a complex project environment.
- Excellent command of the English language combined with strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in modern productivity and IT tools.
