About this role
Create your best future and join Westpac as an Executive Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring – Chief Data and Analytics Office
What’s the role?
As Executive Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring, you’ll lead a team of risk professionals supporting the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) and Shared Data and AI Delivery Unit. You’ll play a key leadership role in helping the business understand and manage its risk and control environment, ensuring risk frameworks, policies, controls, reporting and governance are effectively embedded.
You’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders across Line 1 and Line 2, providing trusted expertise across emerging risks, incidents, issues and controls. You’ll identify opportunities to strengthen risk practices, support the assessment and remediation of issues and incidents, and guide root cause analysis to develop practical solutions that work for the business.
You’ll also provide insights and reporting for risk committees and support the governance and safe delivery of transformation and change across CDAO and the Shared Data and AI Delivery Unit. As a senior leader, you’ll coach and support the business to strengthen risk awareness, encourage ownership and continue building a strong risk and controls culture.
This is a permanent, Sydney based role with two to three days in the office to connect with the wider team.
