About this role

We are seeking a highly motivated RF engineer to join
our Wireless Connectivity RF Design Validation (RF-DVT) team . The successful
candidate will play a key role in validating, characterizing, and optimizing RF
performance of Bluetooth and  IEEE 802.15.4 products across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) variations. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence product performance from early silicon through production by driving RF tuning, performance closure, calibration optimization, and characterization activities in close collaboration with RFIC, modem, firmware, and systems engineering teams.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

- Lead end-to-end RF validation activities for Bluetooth and IEEE 802.15.4 wireless connectivity solutions, ensuring high-performance and standards-compliant products.
- Define and execute comprehensive RF validation strategies, test plans, and coverage for performance, protocol compliance, and interoperability requirements.
- Drive RF characterization and optimization across Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) variations to ensure robust product performance.
- Evaluate RF sensitivity to silicon process variations and implement improvements to enhance performance margins and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with RFIC and modem design teams to optimize RF performance and achieve specification compliance across all operating conditions.
- Conduct performance closure activities and establish production guard bands through detailed characterization and statistical analysis.
- Investigate and resolve complex RF, silicon, firmware, and system-level issues using data-driven debugging methodologies.
- Develop, automate, and maintain RF validation, characterization, and regression test frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Analyze large-scale validation and production datasets to derive actionable insights that enhance product performance, yield, and manufacturability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers while driving continuous improvements in RF validation processes, methodologies, and infrastructure.

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed :

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering , or a related technical field.
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in RF validation, RF characterization, or wireless system validation within the semiconductor industry.
- Strong expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Bluetooth Classic, and/or IEEE 802.15.4 wireless technologies .
- Solid understanding of RF transceiver architectures, wireless communication protocols, and system-level interactions.
- Proven experience using industry-standard RF test and measurement equipment for characterization and validation activities.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and root-cause investigation skills across RF, firmware , and system domains.
- Hands-on experience evaluating RF performance across Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) conditions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work across cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience controlling and automating RF test equipment using SCPI, Py VISA, or equivalent frameworks.
- Familiarity with statistical characterization methodologies, silicon variation analysis, and data-driven performance optimization techniques.
- Experience establishing production limits, characterization guard bands, and performance margins to support high-volume manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications :
