Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

- ECC Design and Implementation : Design and implement
Error Correction Codes (ECC) for memory protection on a SoC
- Failure Detection Mechanisms : Develop and integrate
failure detection mechanisms, including watchdog timers and checksum algorithms
- Fault Simulation and Verification : Utilize fault simulation
to verify the correctness and robustness of the implemented mechanisms
- Team Coordination : Coordinate with the team
to ensure fault detection signals interface correctly with the rest of the SoC
- Technical Documentation : Maintain clear and
structured technical documentation throughout the development process

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

- Study Field : Currently enrolled in a
Bachelor or Master in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Microelectronics, Electronics Engineering, or similar
- Circuit Knowledge : Solid understanding of
digital design and simulation, with hands-on experience using Verilog or VHDL
- Programming Skills : Good knowledge of Python
(or C), Linux, and Git
- Experience : Experience with digital
design through university courses and labs or personal projects
- Language Skills : Professional level of
written and spoken English, with strong communication skills

Important   information:

- Working part-time : The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome : To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
- You should live close to the site : For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
