About this role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and reliable individual to join our busy and dynamic Pensions Administration Team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in pensions administration, supporting the delivery of a high-quality service to pension scheme members, employers and colleagues.

The successful candidate will assist with a wide range of pension administration duties, including maintaining accurate records, processing pension-related transactions, responding to enquiries and supporting the administration of pension benefits in accordance with established procedures and regulations. The role requires regular use of laptop-based systems, handling numerical data and ensuring information is recorded and processed accurately.

You will be expected to manage your workload effectively, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will be dealing with a variety of enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with good organisational skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team. Experience in administration would be beneficial; however, full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop new skills and gain experience in a professional office environment.

Salary: Grade 05 SCP 07-09 (£27,274 - £28,153 per annum)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week

The role is exciting and varied. We require a compassionate and knowledgeable qualified Social Worker with 3 years or more experience, with excellent communication engagement abilities. You will require a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and best practice. A commitment to promoting dignity, safety and respect for vulnerable adults is essential. You are required to demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a complex safeguarding caseload.
