About this role

Job Description

- Join our QEHS team and help ensure that our products consistently meet premium quality and safety standards. As Sr Quality Engineer for Moulding , you will be a key contact for internal and external customers, lead quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate across Moulding and Engineering teams to strengthen processes and product quality. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact by translating quality data into decisions, influencing stakeholders, and driving local and global projects.

Core responsibilities

- Support customers and follow up on quality complaints, including verification of corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical support for complex quality analyses and issues.
- Partner with Moulding Operations, Production Preparation, Engineering, and other relevant teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Establish and apply clear criteria for the acceptance or rejection of products.
- Monitor performance, analyze trends using quality tools, and maintain relevant area KPIs.
- Lead and implement local and global quality projects.
- Maintain and improve FMEAs and Control Plans, sharing reports, standards, and technical knowledge with stakeholders.
- Promote a strong quality mindset and influence cross-functional teams to achieve the required quality levels.
- Make quality decisions regarding visual product defects, non-conforming material, and changes to Quality Moulding processes.

Do you have what it takes?

- Experience in Quality area in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using Quality Core Tools, including FMEA, Control Plans, process diagrams, MSA, and measurement system analysis.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodology.
- Experience leading improvement projects and using data to support decision-making.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001; experience as an internal auditor is desirable.
- Experience with Minitab, including R&R studies, Pareto analysis, Ishikawa diagrams, and other statistical quality methods.
- Experience with moulding processes and measuring devices is preferred.

Note: This position is based in our manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, N.L. This is not a remote position.
