Job Description:

The Platform Manager, Social Commerce is the operational engine driving flawless execution and end-to-end project management for all brand product launches, drops, and campaigns on TikTok Shop. This role orchestrates cross-functional workstreams across catalog configuration, inventory fulfillment, creative development, creator/agency briefs, media support, and PR comms to ensure launch milestones hit market on time and deliver exceptional consumer experiences.

What are we looking for?

- 3–5+ years of hands-on project management, digital commerce operations, or brand marketing operations experience.

- Bachelor’s degree required

- Direct operational experience with TikTok Shop Seller Center, TikTok Creator Marketplace, or similar marketplace/social commerce platforms.

- Proven track record managing multi-stakeholder product launches, cross-functional timelines, and complex critical paths.

- Experience working across supply chain/inventory fulfilment coordination and agency management (creative, influencer, media).

- CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or fast-turn retail experience strongly preferred.

What would be your key responsibilities?

1. End-to-End Launch Orchestration

- Own the Launch Calendar: Build, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, workback schedules, and milestone tracking for all product launches and promotional drops on TikTok Shop and social commerce channels.

- Cross-Functional Ringmaster: Serve as the central connective tissue between Brand Marketing, Creative/Content, Agencies , DCOM, Legal, and Supply Chain to ensure BIC launch execution.

- Risk Mitigation & Problem-Solving: Proactively identify bottlenecks (inventory delays, asset approvals, etc) and rapidly pivot workstreams to ensure on-time delivery.

2. Storefront Setup & Platform Readiness

- Product Listing & Merchandising: Oversee product catalog ingestion, listing optimization (titles, tags, descriptions, video assets), bundle configurations, and inventory allocation ahead of launch day.

- Platform Feature Adoption: Leverage TikTok Shop native mechanics—such as brand and platform campaigns, affiliate commission rules,, and campaign co-funding opportunities—to maximize drop velocity.

- QA & Testing: Conduct rigorous pre-launch checks across mobile app user experiences, checkout pathways, shipping rules, and end-to-end UX.

3. Creator & Campaign Alignment

- Collab Synchronization: Partner with the Influencer and Creator agencies/ and marketing teams to ensure sample seeding, creator brief deadlines, and affiliate link generation align with launch dates.

- Live Shopping Integration: Coordinate logistics, run-of-show assets, and real-time inventory adjustments.

4. Post-Launch Analysis & Process Optimization

- Launch Post-Mortems: Lead cross-functional retro meetings following each campaign to document operational wins, pain points, and conversion insights.

- Continuous Improvement: Build scalable, repeatable frameworks, SOPs, and automated workflows to take launch execution from ad-hoc projects to an enterprise machine.

5. Cross-Functional Media, PR & Launch Comms Integration

- Align with internal media planners and performance marketing agencies to verify media spend allocations, flight dates, targeting parameters, and ad code authorizations (Spark Ads) prior to launch day.

- Partner with Corporate Affairs and Brand PR (internal and external agency partners) to coordinate press releases, media kits, launch talking points, and announcement timing.
- Host regular launch workstream syncs; maintain master project trackers, and deliverable status reports across all launch stakeholders.

6. Launch Day Execution & Post-Mortem Tracking

- Lead real-time launch-day readiness checklists across storefront availability, inventory counts, media turn-on, and creator post verifications.

- Compile and deliver post-launch operational summaries, documenting timeline adherence, stock-out incidents, asset performance, and workflow optimizations for future launch playbooks.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
