Your Purpose and Impact at Mars

As a T&E Analyst, you will be part of the regional MGS-Finance T&E team, providing high-quality support and operational service to new business units across the Americas. Working closely with transactional partners and internal stakeholders, you will ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency. Your role is key to maintaining the integrity of our expense operations and supporting our associates, directly impacting our business's financial health and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements (What is indispensable to start):

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business field.
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP), General Accounting, or Auditing, preferably within a Global Shared Services (GSS) environment.
- Advanced proficiency in both verbal and written English.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, expense processes, and internal controls.
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including vlookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with financial ERP software and expense management systems.

Desirable Requirements (These will be considered a plus, but you can learn with us):

- Direct experience with Travel & Expense (T&E) processes and systems is a plus, but not mandatory.
- A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage challenging stakeholder feedback with professionalism.

What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?

- Support day-to-day T&E operations, including settlement card management and coordination of system workflows with third-party Hub teams.
- Configure, maintain, and provide technical support for the organization’s various expense management systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for T&E inquiries, resolving disputes, addressing declined transactions, and training users on systems and policies.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to simplify workflows and drive standardization across regions.
- Maintain a robust control environment by executing detailed expense audits, detecting anomalies, and ensuring strict adherence to policy.
- Instill trust and create collaborative relationships with stakeholders to foster a customer-focused, compliant culture.
