About this role
The project:
This opportunity forms part of one of the most significant hyperscale data centre developments in the Asia Pacific region, delivering a multi-gigawatt, mission-critical campus in Queensland, Australia. With a projected construction programme spanning more than six years, the project offers the rare opportunity to contribute to a landmark development through multiple phases of design, delivery and operational readiness.
Working alongside a world-class client and an exceptional Mace team, you will help deliver infrastructure of the highest quality within a heavily regulated environment. This role will suit professionals who have experience on large-scale, complex projects and who consistently demonstrate the highest levels of integrity, professionalism and technical excellence.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Manages subcontract packages through procurement, commercial delivery and final account settlement.
- Leads tendering activities, ensuring robust procurement and supply chain outcomes.
- Implements effective cost control, change management and commercial reporting processes.
- Identifies, manages and mitigates risks to protect project performance and margin.
- Drives value through commercial innovation, value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Collaborates across multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes and client value.
You’ll need to have:
- Degree in quantity surveying, commercial management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in cost control, value engineering and commercial reporting.
- Strong contract management expertise, including JCT forms of contract.
- Proven commercial acumen with strong analytical and technical capabilities.
