Software Engineering Manager II - Microsoft Dynamics 365

Ecolab provides an exciting opportunity to join our Enterprise AI team as Software Engineering Manager. This role will focus on digital technologies & platforms to enable & support our Enterprise CRM globally. The Software Engineering Manager will be a key member to lead  the technical team, with a focus on extending platforms to meet business requirements & collaborating with internal & external developer partners to ensure optimal solution development.

This position is based out of our Bengaluru, India office

- Should be accountable for the overall deliverables of a MS Dynamics CRM technical team.

- Should be able to work with Business groups to understand the functional expectations, produce technical solutions and documentation.

- Should be able to conceptualize and design solutions, independently estimate, lead and validate estimates by the teams for the overall delivery.

- Should be able to own engineering quality, people, operational stability, and alignment with business leadership.
- Should be able to set technical direction for technical team, ensure solutions follow Microsoft/D365 best practices, partner with Solution/Technical Architects on architecture decisions.
- Review and analyze business requirements and provide technical feasibility and estimates.
- Should be able to own team, manage D365 developers and QA/DevOps, hiring, mentoring, performance reviews, career development and team structure.
- Should be able to own engineering execution against roadmap, milestones, dependencies, risks and capacity. Remove blockers and ensure predictable delivery.
- Should be able to oversee integrations between D365 and Azure, ERPs, Downstream and Upstream systems, Power Platform and Data platforms.
- Participate in the Scrum process as a developer, with activities including Program Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Estimating, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Demos and Sprint retrospectives.

Minimal Qualifications

- 10+ years’ experience working in an IT environment
- 6+ years’ strong experience in MS Dynamics 365 implementation & support; extensive experience in programming languages: C#, .NET, JavaScript
- Strong experience in Web API development and plug in’s
- Strong experience in integration technologies including SQL Server & KingswaySoft to connect internal & third-party systems
- String experience using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, MS Visual Studio and MS SQL server

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related area
- Experience with Power BI, SQL Server Integration Services, ASP.net, client-side JavaScript frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of working in a methodical and structured manner
- Excellent communication skills: presentation, written, and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully team with software vendors, outsourcing partners and internal business and IT associates
- Must be able to perform as an effective member in a team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude, and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies, and passion for conveying knowledge
- Excellent organization skills
