The selected candidate will design, own and deploy the Sourcing Strategy for main product categories for Ovivo at a Global level, aiming to ensure supply at the best possible TCO.

The role is in Barcelona, and reports to the Ovivo Commercial Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

- Acts as business owner for your categories autonomously defining and executing sourcing strategies. Goals: improve reliability, get competitive pricing, seek technical and commercial opportunities, reduce complexity, shorten lead times. You are responsible for directly leading negotiations with suppliers.
- Applies, as sourcing methodology, the Total Delivered Cost (TDC) process and tools, from definition to implementation, to build and reinforce a best-in-class supply that meets the company goals.
- Leads saving projects to support growth and improve project cost base . Collaborates across Project Management, Operations, Engineering and Business to ensure action plans and project milestones are met.
- Develops Supply Assurance, business continuity plans and risk assessments. Investigates, develops, and drives actions to remedy supply disruptions and constraints. Effectively communicates updates to internal stakeholders.
- Builds and maintains expert knowledge of respective categories, competition, and innovations. Jointly works with stakeholders to address questions and needs surrounding suppliers, markets, materials, and services.

Your profile :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Formal qualification in Sourcing, Procurement, and/or Negotiation is preferred
- 8+ years of international sourcing and procurement experience, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, or engineered-to-order environments
- Strong expertise in procurement best practices, including Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), and Contract Management
- Excellent negotiation, supplier management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Adaptable and resilient professional, able to navigate dynamic environments and negotiate effectively across diverse situations and cultures
- Collaborative team player with a results-driven mindset
- Fluent English required; an additional European language is a plus
