This role is 100% on-site in Washington, DC at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB).

Job Description:

Blake Willson Group (BWG) is seeking an experienced Senior Federal Financial Systems Analyst to support Federal financial management programs utilizing FACTS (PeopleSoft), including the General Ledger (GL) and Asset Management (AM) modules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Federal accounting, USSGL, financial transaction analysis, and reconciliation requirements. In this position, you will also:

- Build and utilize custom queries to support financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting requirements.

- Analyze entry events and review EERT/PART entries for posting.

- Apply knowledge of sub-module-to-General Ledger relationships and associated reconciliation requirements.

- Support analysis and resolution of financial system and accounting issues within FACTS (PeopleSoft).

- Analyze transactions within the FACTS GL and Asset Management modules.

- Support financial reporting and year-end close activities as needed.

- Identify discrepancies and assist with reconciliation and resolution of accounting system issues.

- Collaborate with accounting and financial management teams to support accurate and timely financial reporting.

Required Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience supporting FACTS (PeopleSoft) Federal financial programs, including FACTS General Ledger (GL) and Asset Management (AM).

- 5+ years of experience with Federal Financial Accounting and the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL).

- 2+ years of experience building custom queries and analyzing complex Federal financial transactions.

Desired Skills:

- Experience analyzing entry events and reviewing EERT/PART entries for posting.

- Strong understanding of sub-module-to-General Ledger relationships and reconciliation requirements.

- Experience supporting asset accounting transactions, GLKK reconciliations, Tie Point outages, posting logic issues, and related financial system impacts.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex financial system issues.

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is desired.

- Experience supporting Federal financial reporting and year-end close activities.

- Experience supporting financial management programs within the Department of War (DoW) or Intelligence Community (IC).

- Experience working across accounting, financial management, and technical teams to resolve PeopleSoft and FACTS issues.

At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
