Financial Analyst

One Federal Solution is seeking a Financial Analyst to support federal financial reporting, cost analysis, customer billing, and program operations.

Responsibilities

- Support financial reporting and analysis for federal customers and leadership.
- Calculate and analyze monthly customer activity and costs using CBM and CMM.
- Prepare financial reports, variance reports, customer activity reports, and expense analysis.
- Perform quarterly Cost Per Vendor Invoice (CPVI) calculations and reporting.
- Support FASS financial reassessments and analyze workload and cost trends.
- Prepare financial data, budgets, estimates, projections, and management reports.
- Develop dashboards and other program management reports.
- Identify financial and workload variances and research the causes.
- Support process improvement, special projects, and Earned Value Management reporting.
- Document financial analysis, assumptions, methodologies, and data sources.
- Work with customers and team members to resolve financial and operational issues.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, IT, or a related field.
- Experience in financial analysis and financial management.
- Experience with Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and cost modeling.
- Experience analyzing FASS costs and financial data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with data analysis/visualization tools.
- Federal Government experience preferred, including Change Management and Release Management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and SharePoint.
- Experience preparing reports, SOPs, business processes, and technical documentation.
- Strong project management and customer service skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Master's degree preferred for mid-level and required for senior-level positions.

Preferred Experience

- Federal financial management experience.
- Experience with CBM, CMM, or similar financial systems.
- Experience with DHS/ICE financial operations.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Experience with financial dashboards and data visualization.
