WHO YOU ARE

In this role you will have the opportunity to safeguard the integrity of Lockheed Martin’s facility space data, directly enabling efficient operations and supporting mission‑critical programs. You are a detail‑oriented facilities engineer who expertly manages space data, resolves discrepancies between physical layouts and system records, and collaborates with facilities teams and move services to keep occupancy information accurate and up‑to‑date.The Space Planner supports effective management of facility space by maintaining accurate occupancy, ownership, and floor plan information within the LMBuildings Space Planning Module. This position serves as a key administrator of space data and ensures system information accurately reflects current facility conditions and organizational use. The position maintains floor plan accuracy by creating and updating space polylines, incorporating approved space changes, maintaining drawing redlines, and coordinating updates to as‑built drawings and master floor plans. The Space Planner will identify and resolve discrepancies between field conditions, drawings, occupancy information, and LMBuildings data. The role also supports space requests, occupancy reviews, move planning, reporting, and other space‑management activities necessary to maintain reliable facility and utilization data.

Responsibilities include maintaining employee seat assignments; processing employee and organizational moves; maintaining work center, program, customer, and space ownership information; and updating space attributes within LMBuildings. The Space Planner coordinates with Facilities personnel, business organizations, and move service providers to execute space changes and ensure associated system records are updated.

Basic Qualifications

* Experience with space planning, facilities planning, occupancy management, CAD/drawing management, or a related Facilities function.
* Experience maintaining employee seating, occupancy, space ownership, or floor plan information in an enterprise system.
* Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans and facility drawings.
* Experience creating or maintaining floor plan boundaries, polylines, drawing redlines, or similar space data.
* Ability to coordinate employee moves and space changes across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
* Ability to reconcile differences between system records, drawings, and actual field conditions.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Skills

* Experience with LMBuildings or another IWMS/space management system.
* Experience administering a Space Planning or occupancy management module.
* Experience with AutoCAD or similar drawing software.
* Experience maintaining employee seat assignments, work centers, organizational ownership, program/customer occupancy, and other space attributes.
* Experience developing or maintaining space polylines.
* Experience coordinating employee moves, furniture changes, and move service providers.
* Experience maintaining as-built drawings, master floor plans, and drawing revision records.
* Familiarity with space utilization reporting and occupancy analysis.
* Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or campus environments.
* Strong organizational, customer-service, and stakeholder coordination skills.

* Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to maintain accurate facility or organizational data.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

* Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
* For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
