About Our Family

We are a busy, active family with two school-age children and a full calendar of sports, dance, swim, school activities, and time with friends. Our household moves at a lively pace, and we are looking for someone who can bring organization, efficiency, and calm to the many details that come with family life. One parent works a hybrid schedule and manages calls and meetings throughout the day, while the other works demanding hours in the medical field, including regular on-call periods that bring unpredictability to the family schedule. We don’t have any pets currently, but are looking into getting a puppy in the next year.

We love our home and want it to feel organized, welcoming, and easy to live in. We are looking for someone who can step in, understand what needs attention, and keep things moving without needing to be directed through every task. From keeping uniforms and activity gear ready to stocking the kitchen, picking up the clutter that comes with having young kids, supporting meal preparation, and coordinating with our existing household staff, this person will play an important role in making daily life run more smoothly. We value warmth, professionalism, initiative, and respect, and we are looking for someone who will become a trusted part of our household.

We also have a long-standing weekly cleaner, so this role will work alongside existing household support and help ensure the home is prepared for cleaning visits. We are an open and inclusive household and expect everyone who works with our family to bring the same spirit of professionalism, respect, and consideration for others.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are an independent, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a busy household and takes pride in making things run well. You notice what needs to happen and take care of it without waiting for a detailed list. You are naturally organized, efficient, and attentive to the details that matter, whether that means making sure uniforms are ready for the next practice, keeping the refrigerator stocked, or getting dinner underway before the evening rush. You are flexible, adaptable, and open to growth in this role as the family’s needs change (including a potential puppy in the future).

While this is not a nanny role, you enjoy working with and being around children. You bring a calm, capable presence to busy days and are comfortable giving and receiving clear, respectful feedback. You use good judgment, communicate clearly, and can balance competing priorities without losing sight of what is most important. Above all, you are dependable and take genuine ownership of your work.

You understand that working in a private home requires discretion, respect, and good boundaries. You approach the family, their home, and their community with warmth, professionalism, and consideration. You take pride in creating peace for the families you work with through seemingly small details that make a big difference.
